His stable set new highs for wins and earnings in 2009, led by Horse of the Year Muscle Hill, and Peck was recognized as the sport’s top trainer with the Glen Garnsey Award from the U.S. Harness Writers’ Association…Muscle Hill went undefeated in 12 starts and captured the Hambletonian, Breeders Crown, World Trotting Derby and Canadian Trotting Classic…He equaled the all-age world record for trotting on a mile track (1:50.1) in the Hambletonian…Muscle Hill was also a Dan Patch Award winner in 2008 as harness racing’s top 2-year-old…He finished his career with 20 wins in 21 races (the last 20 victories in a row) and $3.27 million in purses…Muscle Hill’s $2.45 million in earnings in 2009 set the seasonal record for a harness horse of any age, any gait…Holiday Road gave Peck a truly memorable Hambo Day in 2009 by winning the Peter Haughton Memorial for 2-year-old trotters…Peck splits his time as a trainer and as president of media training company Fine Line Inc…Other top horses for Peck have included 2006 Messenger Stakes winner Palone Ranger and 2007 New Jersey Sire Stakes champion 3-year-old filly pacer Lady Mattgalane.
