Career
Gingras is a third-generation horseman who grew up on a farm…He followed in the footsteps of Stephane Bouchard, Daniel Dube and Luc Ouellette, leaving his native Quebec to conquer the United States via Yonkers Raceway…Just like them, he was chosen as the Rising Star Award winner by the United States Harness Writers’Association (2003)...In 2001, Gingras moved to Yonkers and was the top driver at the fall meet…In 2004 he moved his base to the Meadowlands…Finished fourth among all drivers in North America in earnings in 2010 with a career best $11,211,995…Ranked among the top drivers at both the Meadowlands and Harrah’s Chester in 2010…The best horse that Gingras has had the opportunity to drive regularly was Darlin’s Delight, who banked more than $2.9 million in her five years on the track…In 2010 he piloted Pastor Stephen, the Dan Patch Award winner as the sport’s top 2-year-old trotting colt…Their biggest victory came in the William Wellwood Memorial Final at Mohawk.

Father of 4-year-old Jaden and 1-year-old Addison…favorite food is seafood diavlo over angel hair pasta…once worked as a bartender…has a Bernese mountain dog named Charlie…is an avid hockey fan and his favorite TV show is Hockey Night in Canada…is proud to be a “decent” cook.
