Career

Multiple stakes winner Lucky Jim led the way again for Miller’s stable, which surpassed $2 million for the second consecutive year and topped $1 million for the fourth time…Miller finished fourth in the trainer standings at the Meadowlands in 2010, and was third the previous season…Set career highs with 151 wins and $3.6 million in purses in 2009…Lucky Jim won 17 of 18 races and $1 million in 2009 on his way to Older Trotting Horse of the Year honors…Lucky Jim won the Breeders Crown and equaled the world record on a mile track when he trotted in 1:50.1 to win the Nat Ray at the Meadowlands…Had a Hambletonian starter in ’09 in The Chancellor (who finished fourth) and was featured during NBC’s coverage of the race…Her husband, Andy, is one of the top drivers at the Meadowlands and on the Grand Circuit…Grew up in Iowa, where her family raced on the county fair circuit…Her goal, as stated in her high school yearbook, was to race horses in Illinois, and in 1993 she won her first race at Quad City Downs.
Personal favorite food is chicken parmesan…first job was as a cashier at Target…first car was a 1980 Monte Carlo… graduating from Southern Illinois University at Edwardsville…enjoys going to the beach and doing things with her family…has a Pony, Angel, and a mini-Doxen, Blackjack…her greatest racing experience was campaigning Lucky Jim in 2009…hates crossing bridges while driving enough to inspire panic attacks…favorite tv show is Entourage…greatest thing in her life was having her children, T.J. (13) and Olivia (11)…loves the satisfaction of watching young, developing horses improve and win races
